2021 Flowers Pinot Noir

by Madison

Pinot Noir - Flowers - 2021

The 2021 Flowers Pinot Noir is a pretty special wine, let me tell you why. First off, it’s made from Pinot Noir grapes. This is the type of grape that’s not easy to grow – kinda like how some of the toughest levels in video games are the most fun to play.

This wine comes from the Sonoma Coast in California, a place that’s got a pretty perfect setup for growing these grapes. Imagine a big, beautiful playground with just the right amount of sunshine, some cool breezes from the nearby ocean, and the perfect kind of soil. It’s like a grape’s dream come true!

Now, let’s talk about the wine itself. The 2021 Flowers Pinot Noir is just beautiful. It has this intense ruby-red color that’s like the prettiest sunset you ever saw.

When you smell this wine, it’s like walking into a summer garden that’s full of ripe berries and fresh flowers. You can really smell those juicy black cherries and raspberries, but there’s something else too. It’s like when you open a new book and there’s that special smell of fresh paper and ink, that’s the hint of fresh minerality you get.

When it comes to taste – well, from what the grown-ups say – this wine is full of those cherry and raspberry flavors you smelled, but there’s more. It’s like tasting a perfectly ripe plum, but also the freshness of a cool mountain stream. It’s got a little bit of everything!

And the finish? It’s like the last notes of your favorite song, just lingering and making you wish it could go on forever. Plus, it’s really smooth, like the feeling of a polished sea shell.

This Pinot Noir would be the perfect match with something rich and savory. Imagine having a perfectly grilled steak or a mushroom risotto, the flavors of the wine would be a delightful contrast to those dishes.

So that’s my take on the 2021 Flowers Pinot Noir from Sonoma Coast, California. Can’t wait to tell you about the next wine!
